On 02 December, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of our Mario’s service. As the department head of mechanics and our in-house maintenance, he directs seven other colleagues, sets up machines and makes tools. In addition to toolmaking, he is responsible for repairing, drilling and milling and designs new tools in close cooperation with our measurement engineer. He is also responsible for requalifying the measuring and testing equipment.
Actually, Mario wanted to study after his apprenticeship and A-levels, but as so often in life, things sometimes turn out differently than you think.
When he joined the then TLS, his professional life and everyday working life took off. Thanks to ever new, exciting challenges and progressive development, Mario is now an integral part of the Troeger Surface Group.
