Things that have to go “smoothly” fall into the area of Jörg Tolkemit. Having been part of the polishing department
for more than 20 years – including 10 years as the head of the departement – Jörg knows how to give our raw parts the perfect polish. He and his team prepare the parts optimally for the subsequent production steps and can take corrective actions in the production process if this should be necessary. His team of about 20 employees who work in 3 shifts. Plans have to be drawn up for them as well as for our robots, whose shifts are also planned and programmed by Jörg. Optimisation of the programs as well as calibrations are also part of his tasks to ensure a consistent quality standard.
