Our processes at a glance – Part 1: Zinc die casting

Our company uses two different forming processes to produce high-quality metal and plastic parts: Zinc die casting and injection moulding.

In zinc die-casting, the metal is first melted and kept warm in a liquid state. A release agent is then sprayed on to ensure that the liquid metal does not stick to the mould. Once the liquid metal has been poured into the mould, the part is punched and deburred to achieve a smooth surface. To maintain our consistently high quality, the parts are still manually deburred and the sprue removed. This is how we finally obtain a perfect end product for further processing.
